For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything. (Hebrews 3:4)
We have two great lots availiable in the popular Highlands South Subdivision. Perfect for your next custom home. Also, we are down to one completed house left in the Veritas Villas Subdivision. Please give them a look. Both subdivisions are on the popular west side of Dothan. And as usual, we will be honored to build for you on your own land.
Worth Putting On The Front Page!
This is my personal house. I built it with a goal of becoming the most energy efficient home in the Wiregrass area. Many measures were taken and techniques were employed to accomplish this goal. On January 3, 2012, a representative from Wiregrass Electric performed an energy audit on my home and I am elated to announce that I succeeded! My house yielded the best numbers ever recorded for a Wiregrass Electric energy audit. With an ANNUAL AIR CHANGE RATE OF .14 per hour, this home has seemingly no air leakage. It was estimated that the yearly cost of air leakage from heating and cooling will only amount to about $7.00 per year. With 5 of us living in the house (lot of washing clothes!), and the kids constantly leaving lights on, our electric bill was only $151.00 for the month of December. With a pool and pump that ran the whole month, it is estimated that about $75.00 of that total is attributed to the pool. Thus, the actual amount of electrictiy that the home consumed was about $75.00. That's a $75.00 electric bill for a 3800 square foot house! I am very excited. Please check back with us, as I will post my January bill soon.
UPDATE: On February 8, my January electric bill came in at $120.33. With around $75.00 of that usage comming from the pool, the house used less than $50.00 of electricity for the entire month. Please excuse me for bragging, but it is too exciting to keep to myself. I will get the actual bill posted on here soon. It is so unbelievable, I want to show proof.
Please note that I am more than willing to do the same for you!
